"Return of Thermometron 9000" is the fifty-first episode of the first season of Power Players. It first premiered on April 24, 2020, on the official Cartoon Network website and it later premiered on June 14, 2020, on TV on Cartoon Network.
Synopsis[]
During a brutal heatwave, Axel and his team must track down Thermometron 9000, stolen by Ice Crusher for two purposes - to keep his hockey rink from melting and to bait the good toys into a rematch!

- In this episode, it reveals that Andrew made the toys with a special organic compound that regulates the plastic so it won't deteriorate, but those compounds can get moist as stated by Galileo. Since Galileo is from the Junior Genetic Spy Lizards toyline and Bearbarian is made out of plush, this meant the Power Players and by extension, any other Minergy-infused toys become part organic when they're brought to life by Minergy which gives them the ability to eat, sleep and behaves like actual organic lifeforms.
