The Power Players trailer was one of the first CGI footage clips seen for Power Players while it was earlier in development.

On December 23, 2016, Vincent Doignon, the director of photography, uploaded the trailer on Vimeo.

Description

The video mainly consists of Masko trying to escape from Axel Mulligan's dog.

Trivia

• This is the second officially released footage of Power Players after the footage from the ZAG Heroez video.
• The trailer reveals that the show was originally going to be a CGI/live-action hybrid series with the characters be animated via motion capture behind a live-action background. Because of it, Masko is the only character animated in CGI while the rest of the setting is shot in live-action.
• This is the first animated appearance of Masko.
• Because the trailer was released when the series was in development, Masko has a different Power Players team insignia on his belt than in the final product.
• After the trailer was released, two known test footage videos have been uploaded in Vimeo during the production of the series which shows the process of the motion-capture animation. The first known test footage video was uploaded on one of the official ZAG Vimeo channels on July 1, 2017, but as of 2020, the video is no longer available. The second known test footage video was uploaded on the Fame Production Vimeo channel on January 16, 2018.
  • It's currently unknown if there are any more test footages other than the two aforementioned videos.
• On July 3, 2017, Jeremy Zag uploaded two videos on his Instagram to show the crew members first testing out the motion-capture animation.
• In the trailer, Axel's dog is a chihuahua instead of a terrier as seen in one concept art.
