Scene: Zoe's room. Axel is carrying a pile of birthday presents.
Zoe: And this one… and this one… Oh! And I can't forget this one! Thanks for your help, Axel.
Axel: No prob. Really. Whose birthday is it again?
Zoe: Does that really matter? Just bask in the glory of giving, like me!
Axel: That is the most suspicious answer you've ever given. Spill the beans.
Zoe: Okay. But don't make fun of me. It's Cleo LeBall's birthday.
Axel: What?! (His scream is so loud that it surprised everyone from outside) But you hate Cleo!
Zoe: I don't hate her. We're just… competitive. But she planned my birthday last year, just to prove it'd be my best birthday ever… and it was!
Axel: So, you want to out-birthday Cleo? (He accidentally drops the birthday gift pile on the floor) Then you need pro help. And by “pro” I mean pros. Like small ones. Like toys. Like super-agent toys.
Zoe: I get it already.
Axel: Fine. (He looks down at the gift pile he accidentally dropped) Huh! Sorry!
Scene: Axel's room. The Power Players all gather up in Galileo's terrarium.
Galileo: Secret mission? Reinforcements? Did you say “party”? We'll meet you there!
Masko: Yeah!
(Bobbie, who was standing on Masko's shoulders while listening to Galileo's conversation with Axel, falls off when Masko leaps up in the air)
Bobbie Blobby: Whoa!
Sarge Charge: Affirmative on the party!
Masko: I love the party! Party! Party!
(Masko gets out of the terrarium)
Bobbie Blobby: Great.
Scene: Bowling alley. Axel is playing bowling while Zoe is carrying Axel's stack of birthday gifts.
(Axel's bowling ball rolls into a gutter, but it manages to knock down only one pin)
Axel: Woohoo! One down, nine to go! I'm getting better at this.
Zoe: And how is that helping? Remember, everything has to be perfect.
Axel: Don't worry. The team's got my back. Sarge Charge?
(The Power Players all show up at the bowling alley)
Galileo: Ha-ha-ha-ha!
Sarge Charge: Operation Birthday Superiority! Hurrah!
(A large ball of clay rolls into the room and it opens to reveal Bobbie inside)
Bobbie Blobby: Whoopee.
Zoe: We don't have a ladder. How will we hang the banner? Where's the cake? I need candy to fill the piñata!
Axel: You go get candy. We got the rest under control.
(Axel grabs the gift pile from Zoe and places it on the table)
Action Axel: Let's make some birthday magic!
(Zoe sighs out of exasperation as she walks away to the arcade room. Unbeknownst to the Power Players while they're decorating the bowling alley, Princess SugarSalt flies into the room)
Princess SugarSalt: Did someone say “birthday magic” and not invite me? Oh, we'll just see about that!
Action Axel: No ladder? No problem? I got a drone! (He activates the Power Drone and starts flying. He grabs the banner and flies up to hang it up) Oh, yeah! Banner hang coming through! Woohoo! Ha, ha!
(Action Axel hangs up the banner. Princess SugarSalt flies closer to it)
Princess SugarSalt: A party? And no invite for their princess? (She hallucinates and sees herself in Cleo's place on the birthday banner) Oh, of course! It must be a surprise party for me.
(Galileo, who is laying down on a lounge chair on a table, watches Sarge places all the party supplies on the table, Masko hangs up the piñata, and Bobbie creates a clay sculpture of Cleo)
Galileo: Nice sculpture, Bobbie.
(Galileo knocks away his lounge chair and is about to take a selfie, but Sarge, Bobbie, Masko, and Action Axel all leap onto the table)
Bobbie Blobby: Nice napping, Galileo!
Galileo: Say “cheese”!
Masko: The cheese!
(Galileo takes a group selfie. Princess SugarSalt, hiding behind a brown balloon, watch the Power Players resume their decorating)
Princess SugarSalt: I'm glad I followed them this morning or I'd have to miss my own party! They'd better not mess it up!
(Princess SugarSalt accidentally pokes her wand into the balloon, causing it to pop. Zoe arrives while holding a box)
Zoe: Okay, guys! I'm ready to impre— (She notices the room suddenly messed up) Huh! What did you do? You promise me “perfect” and this is the opposite!
Action Axel: It's fine! Not everything has to be a competition.
Zoe: This does! Cleo will be here any second! Gah! Why did I trust you?
(The entrance door suddenly slams open, revealing that Cleo has just arrived)
Cleo: Zoe? You in there?
Zoe: Huh!
Cleo: Hello!
(Zoe runs to where Cleo is)
Zoe: Cleo! Happy birthday! You look great! And you're really, really early!
(Cleo shoves Zoe aside)
Cleo: Yeah, I want to check in and make sure everything is as perfect for my birthday party as it was for yours.
Zoe: Sure. But I want you to be… surprised.
(Above them, Princess SugarSalt has eavesdropped on the conversation)
Princess SugarSalt: Not my party? We'll see about that!
Zoe: It's a surprise party! Everything is amazing. Come back in, like, an hour!
Cleo: I'll wait!
(Zoe rushes to where the Power Players are)
Action Axel: Uh-oh!
Zoe: Or... wait. She's here! No time! Am I panicking? I feel like I'm panicking!
Action Axel: Just trust us. You keep her busy. I have a plan for everything else.
Zoe: Okay. Trust. Plan. Gah! (She runs back to where Cleo is) A game of air hockey in the arcade room is your, uh, party appetizer!
(Action Axel watches Zoe pushing Cleo to the arcade room)
Action Axel: Uh… (He leaps up onto the table where the rest of his teammates are) So, I don't have a plan. What would make this more perfect? Any ideas?
(Sarge notices something behind Action Axel)
Sarge Charge: Hit the deck, kid!
(Various candles rain down towards the Power Players like darts and the toys all take for cover)
Action Axel: How the—?
Bobbie Blobby: Watch it!
(Action Axel leaps down from the table and hides behind one of its legs)
Action Axel: What the what?
(Bobbie fires out clay from her mecha-suit at more incoming candles)
Bobbie Blobby: Finally this party gets exciting!
(On the floor, Sarge is talking through his walkie-talkie)
Sarge Charge: Sarge Charge on the battlefield! Is anybody reading me? Over!
(Sarge leaps back onto the table and hides behind a water bottle)
Action Axel: I'm right behind you, Sarge! What's happening?
Sarge Charge: Hard to say. Need a better vantage point to know for sure, but it looks like we're under attack! (He pulls out his blaster and fires at the candles) By the party!
(In the air, Galileo is gliding in the air to avoid the candles)
Galileo: Well, that's not very festive!
(Inside the arcade room, Zoe pushes Cleo to one side of the air hockey table)
Zoe: Here! You take this side and definitely don't look at the door, so you don't see any of the… (She gasps when she sees the commotion in the bowling room) Surprise.
Cleo: I didn't know you played. Aren't you afraid you might lose?
Zoe: Lose? I can't afford to. Game on!
(While Zoe and Cleo are playing an air hockey match, the Power Players are still protecting themselves from the incoming candle attacks)
Sarge Charge: Got some recon, kid. Attacks are coming from the snack table, but I can't get a clear view of the adversary.
Action Axel: Sounds like a recon mission for Junior Genetic Spy Lizard!
Galileo: Time for my close-up! (He leaps up and glides in the air) But show me first. I get full photo approvals! Camo-mode!
(Galileo activates his camouflage mode and lands on a table where he happens to land in front of Princess SugarSalt)
Princess SugarSalt: If it isn't my party, it isn't anyone's party!
(Using her wand, Princess SugarSalt lifts up Cleo's birthday cake. Galileo turns off his camouflage mode)
Galileo: Princess SugarSalt! You made it to… your party!
Princess SugarSalt: Mine? Really? But I thought I—
Galileo: Oh, yes, we worked extra hard to make it a surprise. You didn't want your cake to go to waste before you make a wish, though!
(Princess SugarSalt gently places the cake back on the table)
Princess SugarSalt: True! Let's go right to singing Happy Birthday to me! And you'd better mean it!
Galileo: You shall receive a serenade that will put all others to shame. ♫ Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, Princess SugarSalt! ♫
(Unbeknownst to Princess SugarSalt, Galileo has recorded her from his camera and sends it to Action Axel)
Action Axel: It's Princess SugarSalt all right! Galileo's got her distracted! Let's go!
Masko: Yes! Before he injure her with the bad singing!
(Meanwhile, in the arcade room, Zoe and Cleo are still doing their air hockey match)
Cleo: You really think you can top the party I threw for you?
Zoe: I don't. I know.
(Back in the bowling room, Galileo is still singing off-key for Princess SugarSalt)
Galileo: ♫ Happy birthday, Princess SugarSalt... ♫
(Princess SugarSalt notices Action Axel, Masko, Bobbie, and Sarge are all spying on her)
Princess SugarSalt: Who dares interrupt my royal celebration? I was just getting used to your singing!
Galileo: I'll have you know I was the lead soprano in the Junior Genetic Choir and-- (Princess SugarSalt creates a large hand out of glitter from her wand and shoves him off the table) Ha!
(Galileo smashes into a few party decorations on a table, which causes a loud ruckus that can be heard from inside the arcade room. Cleo looks at the window)
Cleo: What was that?
(Zoe scores a point in their match)
Zoe: Score for me!
Cleo: Hey, no fair! I wasn't looking!
Zoe: You should probably pay really close attention, ‘cause I'm about to win.
Cleo: What? Never! Not on my birthday!
(Back in the bowling room, Action Axel runs to where Galileo is, who is inside a party cup and is completely dizzy after he hits the party decorations earlier)
Galileo: ♫ Happy me day to both ♫ (Action Axel sighs in annoyance) I'm a good singer.
Princess SugarSalt: Party crashers? Well, I'm a crasher smasher!
Action Axel: When did she get that power?
(Using her wand that forms a large hand out of glitter, Princess SugarSalt hits Action Axel)
Galileo: Oh! My head! Feels like someone blew out my candles!
Action Axel: I know the feeling. Ouch!
Princess SugarSalt: Hee-hee-hee! This party is getting fun!
Bobbie Blobby: Yeah. And this next part's gonna be a real blast, Princess!
Princess SugarSalt: It's Your Majesty to you!
(Princess SugarSalt fires out a heart cloud before flying away, but Bobbie dodges it. She fires out clay at her)
Bobbie Blobby: Take that!
(Princess SugarSalt fires out a large heart cloud and laughs evilly, which forces Bobbie to form a large clay wall to protect herself. Sarge, who is using his parachute, fires a blaster and knocks the wand off her hand)
Princess SugarSalt: Aaah! Who dares!
Sarge Charge: That'd be me!
Princess SugarSalt: No! My royal scepter!
(Masko grabs Princess SugarSalt when she's about to fly down to grab her wand)
Masko: I think you no allowed to play with that some more.
Princess SugarSalt: Let go of me, commoner!
Masko: No, I hang on for now.
(Princess SugarSalt lands on a table and starts stepping onto Masko's arm to let go of her. She then grabs onto his arm)
Princess SugarSalt: That's…
Masko: Going to hurt!
Galileo: Masko!
(Galileo glides up to rescue Masko, but he got knocked aside when Princess SugarSalt spins Masko around and slams him to the wall)
Masko: I seeing the stars.
Princess SugarSalt: Quit ruining my party!
Sarge Charge: You've got it all wrong, Princess.
(Sarge fires his blaster at Princess SugarSalt, but she dodges it. Action Axel activates his Power Drone and flies up behind her. He fires an energy blast at her and she crashes into the birthday cake)
Princess SugarSalt: Aaah!
Action Axel: Party's over, Princess. No goodie bag for you either!
Princess SugarSalt: I still have to open my presents!
(The Power Drone lifts up Princess SugarSalt and carries her away to the vent of the bowling alley. The Power Players all gather up together. Masko applauses to Action Axel)
Sarge Charge: Good job, kid! The shindig is saved!
Action Axel: I don't know, Sarge. Doesn't look very saved.
Masko: Maybe Cleo see the beauty in the chaos, no? No. Not the chance. Is doomed.
(Back in the arcade room, Zoe and Cleo are still competing in their second match)
Zoe: Take that!
(Zoe scores a point, thus she wins)
Cleo: Oh… huh?
Zoe: Yes, I did it! I won!
Cleo: Oh!
Zoe: But… you were really great. Look, Cleo, I have something I need to tell you. This party…
Cleo: Was my best ever! I never get to play with someone who pushes me so hard! That was such a close game!
Zoe: But… really?
(Cleo grabs a balloon)
Cleo: I hate to say it… but yes. And the way you got glitter to rain down from the winning goal is awesome! Hmm. I have to start thinking of ways to top it for your party next year! (She hugs Zoe) Thanks, Zoe! (She walks to where her presents are and carry them away) Bye!
(Back in the bowling room, Axel rushes to where Zoe is)
Axel: So… I can totally explain! Ha, ha! We—
Zoe: All good. She's gone.
Axel: Cleo left. I guess we showed her who makes the best parties!
Zoe: Don't be so competitive, Axel. Besides, if I was you I'd focus on clean-up.
(Axel groans)
Axel: Oh, man! How?
Sarge Charge: Maybe improvise.
Masko: Or maybe… the Cake Dive!
(Masko stretches out his arms and swings to where the cake is)
Zoe: You guys are bonkers!
(The Power Players and Zoe all laugh as Masko lays down and does a frosting angel on the cake)
