Scene: Roof of the Toy Store. Bobbie Blobby and Masko are relaxing under the sun together.
(Bobbie slurps on her drink)
Bobbie Blobby: Yum!
(A spark of electricity is heard)
Masko: Huh? The who?
(Masko and Bobbie both look up to see Dynamo suddenly arrive on the roof)
Dynamo: Masko! Bobbie Blobby!
(Masko and Bobbie both get off their lounge chairs)
Masko: Oh! Is the Dynamo!
(Bobbie grabs her walkie-talkie)
Bobbie Blobby: Let's make him some knuckle sandwiches for lunch. Slobot! Red alert!
Scene: Axel's room. Axel is playing a video game.
Axel: Come on, Axel, ten more points and the record's yours. I mean, mine! Yes!
Sarge Charge: Mayday! Mayday!
(Axel looks up and sees Sarge parachuting down to him)
Axel: Huh? (Sarge lands on Axel's head and looks down at him) Hey!
Sarge Charge: I know you said no interruptions on your, (He fakes his cough which Axel laughs nervously) highly classified mission, but we've got code red! Dynamo spotted! Heading straight for the house!
Axel: Dynamo? Get the team!
(Sarge jumps down from Axel's head and he lands on his hand)
Sarge Charge: Already in position. Except Bearbarian and Galileo.
Axel: Huh? Where are they?
Scene: Park. Bearbarian and Galileo are having fun at the playground by driving Bearbarian's Monster Jeep at a pirate ship playset.
Galileo: Woohoo!
Bearbarian: Ha, ha, ha!
Scene: Axel's room.
Sarge Charge: AWOL.
Axel: Whatever. We'll deal with them later. Dynamo's bad news, so...
Scene: Backyard of the house. Action Axel arrives at the back porch.
Action Axel: Masko, Bobbie, where's Dynamo?
(Above Action Axel, Masko throws Dynamo down from the roof)
Dynamo: Ooh!
(Action Axel turns around and sees Dynamo is about to fall onto him)
Action Axel: Aaah!
(Dynamo lands on top of Action Axel. Masko jumps down from the roof to where t he two are)
Masko: You find him, yes?
Dynamo: Hey! Gimme a break!
(Bobbie jumps down from the roof and lands on the back porch. She is in her mecha-suit and she's aiming her clay cannons at Dynamo)
Bobbie Blobby: Don't worry. I'll give him a break. Or two.
(Bobbie fires out clay at Dynamo)
Dynamo: Hey! I said I ain't here to fight you guys!
Masko: Oh, yes? You think you can just the hang out, eh?
(Masko punches Dynamo off the porch)
Dynamo: Oh! (He lands on a rock at the backyard) Lemme explain myself, blast it!
(Action Axel, Bobbie, and Masko all get onto the rock)
Bobbie Blobby: I'd love to. Blast it, that is.
(Action Axel pulls out his Power Sword and points it at Dynamo)
Action Axel: Explain to Madcap that invading our home turf's a bad idea especially when I'm about to beat my record at-- (Dynamo fires a magnetic blast and knocks the Power Players off the rock. The Power Players all land safely on the grasses) Aaah! (He groans) On your feet, quick! Don't give him the chance to--
(Dynamo reaches out his hand)
Dynamo: To ask for help?
Action Axel: Help? With what?
Dynamo: This.
(Dynamo turns around and points at his clockwork motor on his back)
Scene: Flashback of Madcap's lair.
Dynamo: (narrating) Look, kid, I know I look like a bad toy. But truth is, without somebody to wind me up, my centrifuge don't work. (Madcap in the flashback fires a blast at Dynamo) Madcap's the only one of those chaotic toys who'll help, but only so long as I do what he says.
Scene: Backyard of the Toy Store.
(Masko chuckles happily)
Dynamo: I ain't bad at all. I just ain't had any other choice so far.
(Masko sniffs)
Masko: Anyone else get the dusty in their eyeball?
(Action Axel chuckles at Masko)
Bobbie Blobby: You seriously think we're gonna fall for your sob story?
Action Axel: Hmm?
Masko: Yeah! (He sniffs before he changes his tone from sadness to agreeing with Bobbie) I mean, the yeah!
Action Axel: Even if you are telling the truth, why come to us?
Dynamo: 'Cause you are nice. And if I had the right battery, I could be too. Wouldn't need nobody to wind me. I'd be free. No more Madcap, no more bad-toy stuff. But a battery that strong and small? No store's got 'em. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Action Axel: Maybe not, but since Uncle Andrew made you, he's probably got replacement batteries.
Dynamo: Huh! You don't say? Hadn't thought of that.
Action Axel: Team meeting!
Scene: Axel's room. The Power Players are having a team meeting.
Bobbie Blobby: You're not really considering helping Dynamo, are you?
Action Axel: Uncle Andrew would say everyone deserves a second chance.
Sarge Charge: You don't think he's pulling a fast one? Wolf in sheep's clothing?
Masko: I believe him. I get the leaky eye.
Bobbie Blobby: Because you're a sap. He's hoping we all are. No way. Right, Sarge?
Sarge Charge: Well, we did attack first.
Bobbie Blobby: Don't tell me you're going gooey on me too! Ugh! Well, fearless leader?
Action Axel: If Dynamo is telling the truth, that means one less bad toy to worry about. I say we help. But be cautious. Bobbie, you keep an eye on Dynamo in case he tries anything.
Bobbie Blobby: Ugh! Fine. But don't blame me when this all ends in tears. (She glances at Masko) More tears.
Scene: Andrew's workshop. The Power Players and Dynamo are all searching for the battery.
(Bobbie kicks a toy brick)
Bobbie Blobby: No use. We'll never find anything in Uncle Andrew's workshop clutter. (She walks away to head to the door to get back upstairs) See ya around, suckers.
Action Axel: We just started looking. Second chances, remember?
(Bobbie stops walking and grunts)
Masko: Yes. The seconds.
Dynamo: Thanks, bud. (Bobbie groans) Nothin' in here. (He tosses a toy brick aside, but he accidentally hit Masko in the face) Ooh! Sorry, Masko. Wasn't looking where I was goin'.
Masko: Is not the big deal. After you.
(Dynamo helps Masko get back on his feet)
Dynamo: Nah, I insist.
Masko: I insist the more!
Dynamo: Thanks, pal. Nice to know somebody around here can trust.
(Masko starts to cry tears of joy)
Masko: Aw...
Bobbie Blobby: Really?
Masko: I tell you! Is the dust!
Action Axel: I wonder where Uncle A keeps in... (He gasps) Over here, guys!
(The Power Players and Dynamo all head into Andrew's secret lab)
Scene: Andrew's secret lab. The Power Players and Dynamo all look up at a tall filing cabinet.
Masko: Hmm? Oh! Is the tower!
Action Axel: It's tall, but it's gotta be full of important stuff! Let's go.
Bobbie Blobby: This equals a really bad idea.
Action Axel: This is where Uncle Andrew invented you, Dynamo. If there are batteries that fit, they're here. Hey, now we're trusting you, so help us look, and don't touch anything else.
Dynamo: It'd speed things up if I had my powers. How about a--?
Sarge Charge: Wind you up? Fat chance.
Action Axel: Sarge...
Masko: No worry, Dynamo. Masko believe in you so much, I face the fear of the heights for the new friend!
(Masko walks towards the filing cabinet and feels a bit hesitant before he starts climbing up the cabinet. Bobbie shoves Dynamo aside before she walks to where Masko is)
Bobbie Blobby: Lemme go help Rubber Legs.
Dynamo: I'm not the enemy, you know. I really was just doin' what Madcap said all along.
Bobbie Blobby: Oh! Okay. And did he say "lose to us" all the time?
Dynamo: I just... didn't wanna hurt anybody.
Sarge Charge: Huh! Then you're a better actor than Galileo!
Dynamo: Who isn't?
(Dynamo and Sarge both chuckle)
Sarge Charge: Got to admit that was a good one.
Dynamo: Thanks, Sarge Charge!
Masko: What so funny? (He accidentally lets go of the filing cabinet drawer knob, causing himself to fall down) Aaah!
Action Axel: Masko!
Masko: Aaah!
Dynamo: No!
(Dynamo uses his magnetic power and opens the bottom drawer where Masko safely fall in)
Action Axel: Good save, Dynamo!
Bobbie Blobby: Hmm? (She groans) Good. Except you said you were out of juice. Lie much?
Dynamo: I, uh, had a teeny bit in reserve that I shouldn't use, but had to, to save my new pal. 'Cause I care. Mmm-hmm.
Bobbie Blobby: Mmm-hmm.
Masko: I appreciate the savings. And now I look for... battery? (He notices that the drawer he's in is filled with batteries) Oh! Battery! (He throws a few batteries out of the drawer and finds a flat round glowing battery. He holds it up to show it to his teammates and Dynamo) Hey! Look what under the Masko butt!
Action Axel: Whoa! All right!
Dynamo: Finally!
(Masko gets out of the drawer)
Action Axel: Still think we shouldn't have helped, Bobbie?
Bobbie Blobby: Who cares what I think?
Masko: This one make you go...
(Masko makes buzzy sounds)
Dynamo: One way to find out, my stretchy chum!
(Dynamo pulls his battery from his compartment out)
Masko: He call me "chum"!
(Dynamo levitates the glowing battery from Masko's hands and places it in his compartment)
Dynamo: Yeah! Heh, heh! Oh, yeah!
(The now-overpowered Dynamo laughs evilly before summoning a magnetic field)
Sarge Charge: I don't remember his magno field being this strong before.
Action Axel: Hey, Dynamo? Think you could turn it down a notch?
Dynamo: Down? Ha, ha, ha, ha!
Masko: Look! He so happy!
Bobbie Blobby: Yeah! And not the good kind!
Action Axel: Dynamo! What are you doing?
Dynamo: Don't worry friends. I'm just warmin' up. When I'm fully charged, ha, ha, then you should worry.
(Dynamo fires a blast at Masko, knocking him out of the secret lab)
Action Axel and Bobbie Blobby: Masko!
Masko: Aaah!
(Masko lands on the floor of the workshop)
Bobbie Blobby: Raise a hand if you're surprised I was right. No one? Oh, shocker.
Action Axel: Let's do this, Power Players!
(Action Axel, Bobbie, and Sarge all charge to Dynamo)
Scene: Andrew's workshop.
Masko: Hey! What is the hit me? (Dynamo fires a blast which causes Sarge, Action Axel, and Bobbie to all flung back and heading towards him) Oh!
Bobbie Blobby: Whoa!
Masko: My friends!
(Masko catches Sarge and Bobbie, but he didn't catch Action Axel in time)
Action Axel: Aaah!
(Action Axel crashes into something)
Masko: Sorry. Only the two hands.
Action Axel: Second chance to be good, over. First chance to be stopped, starting now!
(Dynamo laughs evilly as he hovers above the Power Players)
Dynamo: Finally, a power source that'll never wind down. Time to tell Madcap there's a new boss in town!
Action Axel: You're not leaving here with that battery, Dynamo!
Dynamo: Tell you what, squirt. Stay outta my way and I'll spare you and these saps any damage as thanks. Of course, rest of the house is fair game.
(Dynamo laughs evilly)
Sarge Charge: Charge!
(The Power Players all charge to Dynamo)
Dynamo: Oh, I'm charged!
(Dynamo levitates various metal objects and starts using them as ammo to attack the Power Players)
Bobbie Blobby: Look out!
(A wrench hits Bobbie and a screwdriver hits Sarge)
Sarge Charge: Oh!
(Dynamo levitates the train and slams it to where Masko is, but Masko dodges the train)
Dynamo: Maximum pain? Track one! (He levitates the two metallic hand decorations from the cash register and aims them at Action Axel) How about a hand for your gullible leader?
(Action Axel dodges one of the metallic hands before he pounces up to prepare to attack Dynamo)
Action Axel: You're about as funny as you are honest, Dynamo!
(The second metallic hand knocks Action Axel aside)
Dynamo: Those are side hustles, kid. My main job? Finishing you off! (Various metal objects levitate around him) Feelin' good! Feelin' very good!
Action Axel: What is he doing?
Sarge Charge: Pickin' up ammo! Can't let him launch it!
(The Power Players all charge to Dynamo)
Dynamo: I said I'd leave you alone for helping me become the number-one bad toy. Don't make me regret givin' you a second chance.
(Dynamo uses a metallic hand and punches the Power Players back)
Masko: Ay! My pancreas!
Sarge Charge: Don't let up!
Dynamo: Consider your help paid in full.
(Dynamo levitates the cash register and lets it fall down right on top of Sarge, Masko, and Bobbie)
Masko: He make the bad joke!
Action Axel: Oh, no!
Dynamo: Oh, yes! I just... just... (Various metal objects start attracting him) What's happening?
(Action Axel rushes to where his teammates are to lift the cash register off of them)
Action Axel: Boot boosters! (He activates his Power Drone and lifts himself up along with his jet boots. He lifts up the cash register of his teammates) Guys! Are you...?
(Masko has used his body as a shield and prevents himself, Bobbie, and Sarge from being squished from the cash register)
Masko: We are not the squish!
Dynamo: Hey! Why's all this junk coming to me? I didn't try to pull any of... (Many toys that are metals attract to him) What gives? No! Help! Aaah!
Action Axel: His magnetic field, it's too powerful with that battery! We have to help him!
Bobbie Blobby: We do? Why? He already wasted his second chance. Ugh!
Action Axel: Because we're not him. We are Power Players. Game on! (The Power Players all charge to Dynamo. Action Axel gets onto a metal object to get closer to Dynamo) Dynamo, how do we dial you back?
Dynamo: Don't know! Crushing me!
Action Axel: Just hang on! (He tries to pull the metal objects off of Dynamo, but they didn't budge) I can't do it!
Sarge Charge: Maybe not alone, but... Masko, we need more power!
Masko: I get!
Dynamo: You gotta help me! I can't take it!
Action Axel: Masko, we'll hold, you retrieve!
Masko: I do this!
(Masko stretches his arm and reaches to where Dynamo's compartment is)
Action Axel: Hurry!
Dynamo: What he said! Get me out!
Masko: He not say get you out. He say "retrieve".
(Masko knocks the battery off of Dynamo's compartment)
Dynamo: What? My battery! No!
(With the battery of his compartment, Dynamo and all the metal objects fall down to the ground)
Action Axel: Dynamo?
(Dynamo gets off the pile and glances at the Power Players)
Dynamo: You saved me, even after I double-crossed you?
Action Axel: I meant what I said. Everybody deserves a second chance.
Bobbie Blobby: Or, apparently, a third, or fifth, or tenth.
Dynamo: I...
(Dynamo looks away from the Power Players)
Action Axel: When you saved Masko, earlier, that was the real Dynamo. Deep down, I think you're good... like us. When you feel like being that toy, there's a place for you on our team.
Dynamo: Really? Huh. I... I don't... I... I'll get back to you.
(Dynamo opens the front of the toy store and flies away to head back to Madcap's lair. Just then, Bearbarian and Galileo finally return. Bearbarian drives his Monster Jeep onto the toy pile)
Bearbarian: Roar!
Galileo: Gravity! Woo-hoo-hoo! (The Monster Jeep lands on the floor) We heard about the attack. We came as fast as we could, which was very fast.
Bearbarian: I drove like a warrior born! Now where is Dynamo?
Action Axel: Not gonna lie, Bearbarian. You and Galileo really let us down today. But there's a way you could earn a second chance.
(Sarge points to the pile of mess in the workshop)
Sarge Charge: KP duty. Hop to it, men. Uncle Andrew will be back any minute.
(Galileo and Bearbarian both sigh)
