The toy store is a toy repair shop owned by Andrew and his home with his nephew Axel Mulligan. In "Unboxing Part 1", Axel moves in with his uncle while his parents are away on a diplomatic mission. It serves as the setting for most of the events of Power Players.

Trivia[]
- According to an original concept for the Unboxing Special, the Monkey Toys (the original name for the toy store) was owned by Axel's grandfather instead of Uncle Andrew. But while the premise is the same as the final product, such as Axel broke into the Toy Box and accidentally released the toys, the only difference is that Axel's grandfather retired from working at the toy repair shop when that incident happened.[1]
- Since Axel is responsible for unleashing Madcap out of the Toy Box, the Power Players have to protect the house from Madcap and his army who constantly invade to steal the Power Bandz before Uncle Andrew gets home.
- After the episode "Out Of My Head", Axel has been staying with Uncle Andrew for more than six months.
- The photos that are on the refrigerator shows that Axel and Uncle Andrew have traveled together and have visited the Louve Museum in Paris, London, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Taj Mahal in Arga.
- When Power Players was originally going to be a CGI/live-action hybrid series before it was switched to have the characters be animated in motion-capture in a CGI background, the main setting of the series was going to be set in a regular suburban house instead of the toy repair shop as seen in the Power Players trailer.
- In "Iced Out", Ice Crusher froze the exterior of the toy store which forces the Power Players to win a game of hockey against him so he could unfreeze it before Andrew gets home.
- The interior of the house has been frozen two times in the series. The first time was in "Attack of Thermometron 9000" by Thermometron 9000, and the second time was in "Freeze!" by Ice Crusher.
- According to Action Axel in "Countdown", the workshop is right underneath the living room of the house.
- A doghouse can be seen in the backyard of the house. However, neither Axel nor Andrew is shown to have any pets.
- The doghouse might be a reference to how Axel was originally going to own a dog during the early development of the series but the dog was scrapped later in production.
