Scene: Park. Axel and Uncle Andrew are attending a rummage sale.
Axel: Wasn't this supposed to be fun, Uncle Andrew?
Uncle Andrew: I'm having a blast!
Axel: It's just a lot of weird old junk for sale.
(An old lady shows Axel a small elephant figure)
Old lady: Oh?
Uncle Andrew: Junk? I beg to differ! Rummage sales are spectacular! Look at all this!
(Uncle Andrew shows Axel a box of items he bought)
Axel: I guess for you, but I don't see anything good here for me. (He gasps when he sees something at another booth) Whoa! Is that a... Joyride?
Uncle Andrew: Joyride? That's a rare toy.
Axel: Truth, Uncle A! Zoe had the exact same one, but she lost it! It was her favorite! The tough tank that transforms into a noble knight!
(Axel grunts as he tries to make Joyride transform into a samurai)
Uncle Andrew: And that's the magical thing about a rummage sale! One person's old junk is another person's new treasure! Let me help.
(Uncle Andrew helps Axel turn Joyride from a tank to a samurai. He hands Joyride back to Axel)
Axel: Wow! It's perfect! Zoe is not gonna believe this!
Scene: Zoe's room. Axel surprises Zoe with Joyride.
Axel: Ta-dah!
Zoe: Joyride? No way!
Axel: Way! And it's for you!
(Axel gives Joyride to Zoe)
Zoe: You're kidding me! They're so rare! How did you find one?
Axel: I'm kind of a pro at these things called rummage sales. I… um… (He sees Zoe walking to one of her shelves and places Joyride on top of it) What are you doing?
Zoe: You can live here, Joyride. And I won't ever lose you again!
Axel: Hey, that isn't something you keep on a shelf for decoration. (He takes Joyride off the shelves) You're supposed to, you know, play with it! (Zoe tries to get Joyride back) That's what toys are for!
(Axel accidentally throws Joyride into the bedroom walls. He and Zoe both gasp)
Zoe: Axel!
Axel: Uh… Guess it's good that it's a tank. You know, unbreakable? (Zoe picks up Joyride and places him on top of another shelf) Really? Come on, Zoe.
Zoe: I don't want anything bad to happen to it! Listen, you gave it to me as a present. That means I can do what I want with it, right?
Axel: I guess. Hey, but in that case, I'm gonna go to my house where I can actually play with the toys.
(Axel leaves the room and head to his house)
Zoe: All right! Thanks, Axel! (As soon as Axel is out of the house, Zoe picks up Joyride) And welcome back, Joyride! So awesome!
(Zoe starts playing with Joyride. But unbeknownst to her, Madcap is outside and is spying on her through her window)
Madcap: Well, what do we have here?
Zoe: I can't believe I have you back. (hugs Joyride) Mmm… (Madcap chuckles evilly outside. Later, Zoe is using a handkerchief to brush off the dust from Joyride) See you after lunch!
(Zoe leaves the room. After she leaves, Madcap did an evil grin while looking at Joyride)
Scene: Axel's room.
(Underneath Axel's bed, Slobot comes out and calls out to Axel without having to touch him)
Slobot: Tag… you are… it.
Axel: Tag, Slobot? (notices that the toys are all hiding) When I'm this big? Too easy to find! But I know a way to even the play.
(After the transformation, Action Axel didn't notice that Zoe is behind him)
Action Axel: Look out, here I come!
Zoe: Axel!
Action Axel: Huh? (Zoe angrily picks him up) Whoa!
Zoe: What did you do with Joyride? It's not on my shelf!
Action Axel: Huh? What do you mean? You said, “no touchy”, remember?
Zoe: And someone touched it during the one minute I was eating my sandwich! It's gone!
(At Sarge Charge's base, Sarge is looking out of the window with his binoculars)
Sarge Charge: Hmm. (notices something in the backyard) Uh-oh!
Zoe: Huh?
Sarge Charge: Trouble in the back 40. (He looks through his binoculars again and sees Madcap applying Minergy to Joyride) Looks like Madcap woke up the heavy machinery!
Madcap: Yee-haw! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
(Action Axel and Zoe both look out of the window)
Zoe: He gave my Joyride Minergy?
Action Axel: I'll take your apology any time.
Zoe: I'm sorry. Now can you help me not lose it again?
(Joyride rolls himself forward and is about to fire a blast from his sword to the Power Players)
Action Axel: Your wish is my command! Team?
(Zoe gasps)
Masko: It could be the trap! Whatever Madcap do is the no good. So, what to do?
Madcap: Fire, my new friend!
(Joyride fires a blast to the window. Action Axel dodges the blast)
Action Axel: Whoa!
(The blast hits Axel's graffiti wall decoration, causing a small hole to form. The Power Players all gasp in surprise)
Bearbarian: Grr!
Action Axel: We go help Joyride before Madcap turns it bad! Let's roll!
(The six Power Players did a battle cry as they get down to the floor and heads to the door)
Slobot: Ready… to… roll. (He sees that his teammates all leave without him, leaving him alone with Zoe in the room) Too late.
Scene: Toy Store's backyard. The Power Players are all searching for Joyride.
Bearbarian: Grr! Grr!
Action Axel: All clear?
Sarge Charge: It's quiet, all right. Too quiet.
Masko: You think something bad going to happen?
Galileo: Oh, come on! Does something bad happen every time Madcap's around? Let me answer that. Yes.
(Joyride makes an ambush and appears out of a shrub. He pulls out his sword)
Joyride: (to Action Axel) You slammed me into the wall and now I will destroy you!
(Joyride fires a blast towards Action Axel, but Bearbarian arrives and smashes it with his World Breaker. But the impact causes the Power Players to all get knocked aside)
Bearbarian: Destroying is my specialty.
Action Axel: Hold on! Um, Joyride? You've got it all wrong!
Joyride: Oh, do I? You did not slam me into the wall?
Bobbie Blobby: Well…
Masko: Uh...
Action Axel: Uh... Okay, yes. But I was just playing! You know, you're a toy! You play with toys!
Joyride: Nobody's gonna play with me ever again! Madcap set me free! (Zoe gasps) I no longer have to sit on a shelf subject to the whims of others!
(Nearby, Madcap is standing on top of a garden windmill. He laughs evilly)
Madcap: Oh, yes, helping other toys. That's my specialty!
Action Axel: Madcap! You've got no business messing with Joyride! It's Zoe's toy now!
Joyride: I belong to no one!
(Joyride transforms into a tank to fire another blast at the Power Players)
Sarge Charge: Take cover! (Joyride fires a blast at the Power Players) Ugh!
Action Axel: Drone! Fire up!
(Action Axel activates his Power Drone. He flies up to where Madcap is. Galileo is about to glide to Madcap, but Madcap fires a blast at him)
Madcap: Having fun yet? I'm having a blast! (laughs evilly)
(Madcap watches as Joyride is firing various blasts at the Power Players. Galileo is about to fall down)
Galileo: Aaah!
(Action Axel catches Galileo from falling)
Action Axel: Got ya!
(Near the Guzei bridge decoration, Sarge and Bearbarian are both heading to the bridge. Sarge is holding a pinecone)
Sarge Charge: Bearbarian, I got ammo!
Bearbarian: And here's the cannon! (Sarge throws the pinecone at Bearbarian, and he hits it with World Breaker) Fire away!
(The pinecone lands on Joyride)
Joyride: A pinecone? Pathetic!
(Galileo gets on top of Joyride)
Galileo: I'm ready for my close-up!
(Joyride fires various blasts at random places to try to get Galileo off of him)
Joyride: Get off!
Masko: Bobbie Blobby! The look out!
(Joyride fires at Masko and Bobbie)
Action Axel: Stay on it, guys! I got the big bad. (He flies up to Madcap, dodging various blasts Madcap fires at him. Action Axel blasts a big ball of energy from his exoskeleton) Cut it out, Madcap!
Madcap: Eat Minergy, squirt!
(Madcap fires out Minergy at Action Axel's blast)
Action Axel: Fight fire with fire!
(Action Axel managed to overpower Madcap and knocks him off the windmill)
Madcap: You're no fun at all! (falls down to the ground) Joyride! Let's skedaddle!
Action Axel: No! Joyride stays here!
Joyride: No one tells me where to go!
(Joyride creates a huge blast underneath him to get into the sewers)
Bobbie Blobby: Whoa!
Madcap: I'd say Joyride's chosen a side, wouldn't you? (laughs evilly)
Scene: Sewers. Madcap gets into the sewers and runs to the direction to his lair.
Action Axel: After him! (The Power Players all get into the sewers) We can't give up. I promised Zoe I'd get Joyride back!
(The Power Players all follow Madcap)
Scene: Madcap's lair.
Madcap: Welcome to my little kingdom!
Joyride: You are a king?
(Below Madcap's truck, Sarge opens the sewage hatch)
Sarge Charge: I don't like the looks of this.
Action Axel: Duh, Sarge. It's Madcap's lair.
Madcap: Who else? If it wasn't for my Minergy, you'd still be sitting on that shelf!
Joyride: I will honor my debt.
(At the truck flatbed, the Power Players are about to perform an ambush to the villains)
Galileo: Up here! We can get a vantage point!
(Masko steps onto an oil spill)
Masko: Oy, oy, oy, oy! Oh, no!
Action Axel: Shh!
Madcap: Huh?
Masko: The choo! I have the oil allergy.
(Madcap and Joyride both look at the truck's flatbed and sees the Power Players)
Madcap: Perfect timing. (to Joyride) You know what you can do to repay me? Get those Power Bandz off their fearless leader!
Action Axel: We're here for Joyride!
Madcap: The truck knight is mine, but I do like to share my toys. Toys? Attack!
(Princess Sugar Salt, Orangutank, and Porcupunk all heard Madcap. They get out of their lair and charge to the Power Players)
Princess Sugar Salt: Hee, hee, hee!
(The Power Players and the villains all start fighting. Bearbarian throws World Breaker to Orangutank)
Masko: You set the Porcupunk, I spike!
(Masko grabs World Breaker and smashes Porcupunk with it. He throws World Breaker back to Bearbarian, and he jumps down to pounce on Porcupunk)
Porcupunk: Not happenin'.
(Porcupunk fires his quills at Masko and one of it hits him, causing Masko to get launch up into the air)
Masko: Whoa! Oh, no! (Masko slams into the ceiling) Aaah!
(Nearby, Galileo and Princess Sugar Salt are both fighting in the air)
Princess Sugar Salt: I'm a huge fan of the Junior Genetic Spy Lizards!
Galileo: Oh, you are?
Princess Sugar Salt: Too bad you're not a real one!
(Princess Sugar Salt waves her wand and forms a giant fist out of glitter. The giant fist punches Galileo away)
Galileo: Oh! Oh, no!
Action Axel: We're getting Joyride out of here!
Madcap: Like it wants to be with you!
(Madcap jumps down from the roof of his truck and blasts Minergy to Action Axel, but Action Axel blocks the blast with his Power Shield and he fires at Madcap, sending him flying away from the truck. On top of the truck roof, both Sarge and Bobbie are trying to capture Joyride. Sarge lassoes Joyride's left hand and holds the rope tightly while Bobbie fires a net to capture him)
Sarge: Go for the pin, Bobbie!
Joyride: Get off of me!
(Joyride cuts the rope that Sarge is holding, knocks him off the truck roof. Joyride fires a blast at Bobbie, and she too falls off the truck roof)
Bobbie Blobby: Whoa!
Action Axel: Joyride, listen to me!
Joyride: You listen to me! Leave me alone!
Action Axel: Wait!
(Joyride and Action Axel start sword-fighting)
Madcap: Yes! It's a clash of mini titans! Fun! (Joyride and Action Axel are sword-fighting underneath the truck) Finish him, Joyride!
Action Axel: Don't do it! Don't be like Madcap!
Madcap: That's it! Joyride triumphant!
(Action Axel sees something inside Joyride's camera len)
Action Axel: Whoa!
(Action Axel sees Joyride's memory of being hugged by Zoe earlier. Joyride knocks Action Axel's Power Sword out of his hands) Oh, no!
Joyride: Oh, yes.
Madcap: And to think you were just a useless piece of junk, but now you're mine!
Action Axel: You were never a useless piece of junk to Zoe! You were always her favorite toy! (Joyride stops attacking Action Axel and remembers himself being played with by Zoe earlier when he was in his dormant state. He slams his sword to the floor, sparing Action Axel's life) Huh?
Madcap: Don't listen to him! I am your master! Finish him! Finish! (Joyride turns around and fires a blast at Madcap) Aaah! That was no fun.
(Joyride leaps onto the truck)
Joyride: I have no master. I am a free toy!
(Galileo cheerfully claps for Joyride's redemption)
Action Axel: Free to come with us if you want.
Scene: Toy Store backyard. Zoe is reunited with Joyride.
Zoe: Joyride? I'm so happy to see you! Thank you, Axel!
Joyride: I came back to say goodbye.
Zoe: What? Really? (picks up Joyride) Oh… I get it. You're a Power Player now. I understand.
Joyride: No, I am not one of them or Madcap's lackey. I am free to just be me.
Zoe: I understand. I really do. Freedom is important. And if you want that, then we want that for you. All of us.
(Zoe puts down Joyride, and he rolls away from the backyard)
Joyride: In this world, there is good and bad, and you are good.
Action Axel: (to Zoe) So, have a second favorite toy? If I have to, I'll go to all the rummage sales in the whole city to find it for you.
Zoe: That's okay. I have something better, my best friend.
Action Axel: Aw.
Bobbie Blobby: Hooray.
Action Axel: I wouldn't swap that for anything!
