Non-Canon Information This page is for a concept/character/etc. that didn't become, isn't considered, or hasn't been confirmed canon in the Power Players continuity. |
The first CGI promotional videos were one of the first CGI footage clips seen for Power Players (then known as Power Toys) while it was earlier in development.
The footage clips are from many 2016 ZAG Heroez promotional videos and it features the original five members of the superhero team.
Description[]
The footage clip can be seen in many 2016 promotional videos that were made to promote the ZAG Heroez brand. It features four toys (a pirate, a fairy doll, a red robot, and a teddy bear) getting onto a box.
A MIFA's 30th Anniversary poster made by Zagtoon features a plush rabbit within the team.
Trivia[]
- This is the first officially released footage of Power Players.
- It's currently unknown what exactly is the full length of the footage since only a small snippet was used for the 2016 ZAG Heroez promotional videos. The ZAG Heroez promotional video was first seen during the 2016 Miraculous Ladybug Anime Expo panel on July 9, 2016.[1]
- Because the clips were released prior to the series premiere, none of the characters make any appearance other than in the video. Also, none of the characters in the final product, such as the canon Power Players members, existed during its creation.
- It's currently unknown what're the names of each of the original five toys. It's also unknown if the team went by the name "Power Toys" since at the time the ZAG Heroez promotional video was released, the working title for the series was Power Toys.
- While the members of the original superhero team shown in the video are all scrapped, some of the unused characters have similarities to the canon main characters:
- The red toy robot would be replaced with Slobot who's also a robot. However, the red robot's design has some elements that are used in Action Axel's armor.
- The blue teddy bear would be replaced with Bearbarian, though it's unknown if the blue teddy bear was also Bearbarian's original design.
- The fairy doll has a similar design to Silvermist from the Disney Fairies franchise.
- The design of the toy pirate is similar to the design that is used for the Playmobil franchise.
