Scene: Bowling alley. Axel is riding his bike to the bowling alley. Bearbarian and Masko are both in his backpack.
Axel: Keep up Bearbarian! We're late!
(Axel stops pedaling when he sees Zoe is standing outside waiting for him)
Zoe: Uh…
Axel: Zoe, we're here!
(Unbeknownst to the kids, Madcap's robotic drone is nearby and Porcupunk is spying on them from Madcap's lair)
Zoe: Oh, hey, Axel. Thanks for coming to support, but…
Axel: No buts! You are ready for this tournament. You're a great bowler!
Zoe: I'm okay, but Cleo LeBall is here, and she's better than me!
Axel: Psh! You got this! And plus, I can give you last-minute pointers!
Zoe: You know nothing about bowling.
Axel: True. But when it comes to tackling opponents, I'm a champ!
(The kids walk inside the bowling alley)
Scene: Madcap's lair
Porcupunk: Kid's at the bowling alley, Madcap, just like you said, with the Power Bandz. Go nick 'em?
Madcap: Not just yet, Porcupunk. I want to wake up a new toy, so we can have… maximum fun! Say hello to… Dynamo!
(Dynamo wakes up from his dormant state)
Porcupunk: Him? We don't need him! What's he got that I ain't got?
(Dynamo fires a blast at Porcupunk which sends him away)
Dynamo: Bye-bye!
Madcap: A magnetic personality! Now we're ready! To the lanes!
Scene: Bowling alley. Cleo had archived a bowling strike at the tournament.
Audience: Oh, wow, she's amazing!
Announcer: And it's another strike for Cleo LeBall for the warm-up stage. (Cleo scored another strike) And Cleo LeBall does it again! She locks the lead!
(Cleo arrogantly shows off to the crowd)
Axel: Oooh! Ooh, ooh! You could try throwing two balls at once! Or… get more speed by spinning around in place first.
(Axel spins around to demonstrate his advice to Zoe, but he collapses down onto the floor out of dizziness)
Zoe: Mm-hmm.
(Nearby, Bearbarian and Masko are both watching the tournament from Axel's backpack)
Masko: Oooh!
(Zoe rolls her ball to the lane, but her ball rolls into the gutter, therefore she misses the pins)
Zoe: Why even bother?
(Cleo sarcastically claps her hands as a mockery to Zoe)
Cleo: Zoe! You didn't chickened out!
Zoe: Cleo LeBall… hmm. I didn't stand a chance against her. She always wins.
(Meanwhile, Madcap, Porcupunk, and Dynamo are all sneaking into the vents of the bowling alley. Porcupunk is in the lead running through the vent)
Porcupunk: Point me to the lanes! Can't wait to pound on things!
(Madcap shoves Porcupunk out of the way)
Madcap: You're my spare, Porcupunk. (Dynamo flies past him) Dynamo, first strike belongs to you!
(Dynamo punches the air vent door open, and the villains all get out. The toys all get on top of a rectangular ceiling light)
Announcer: Bowlers, it's time for the tournament play! First frame!
(Dynamo is about to fire a blast, but he suddenly started to get shut down)
Porcupunk: Well? What's he waiting for?
Dynamo: Just give me a crank.
Porcupunk: A mechanical wind-up key? This ancient toy is better than me?
(Madcap picks up Porcupunk and Dynamo with his tentacles)
Madcap: Save the jealousy and wind him to the max. We're gonna need him at full strength to get those Power Bandz, so I can make the world a lot more fun.
Porcupunk: I may have to do it. But I don't have to like it.
(Porcupunk winds up the key behind Dynamo's back, turning him back on)
Dynamo: I am ready.
Axel: Go for it, Zoe! You're the best!
(After Cleo and Zoe both throw their respective balls, they're about to grab another ball)
Zoe: Yes, great throw!
(Cleo grabs the bowling ball before Zoe)
Cleo: Uh, we'll see who's best. Ha, ha!
(Cleo throws the ball to the lane and she scores another strike. Zoe grabs another ball and she's ready to throw)
Axel: Yeah! Whoo! Whoo! Go, Zoe!
(Axel jumps in front of Zoe, which unintentionally startles her into letting go of the ball. The ball rolls on the lane and Zoe have made another strike)
Audience: Yes! She made it!
Zoe: Huh?
Axel: You okay, Zoe? Well, it worked! Look! Only one left! (He turns around to face his backpack) Do you see that, guys? (To Axel's surprise, both Bearbarian and Masko have left the backpack. He walks away from Zoe) Um… Where'd they go?
(Inside the arcade room, Masko and Bearbarian are playing on the air hockey table. Masko inserts a coin and activates the table)
Bearbarian: Ho, ho, ho, ho! Woohoo! Like the great northern winds!
Masko: Not sure why is called the hair hockey, but I love!
(The two toys start playing around on the table when Axel arrives)
Axel: Are you two bonkers? What if someone sees you?
(Bearbarian and Masko both see Madcap, Dynamo, and Porcupunk who're climbing up the table behind them. Bearbarian knocks Masko off an air hockey striker he's riding on in surprise)
Masko: Someone does to see us! Look!
(Masko accidentally gets his head stuck into the goal opening)
Madcap: Hello, toy brains!
(Masko pulls his head out of the goal opening)
Axel, Masko, and Bearbarian: Madcap!
Madcap: Dynamo, show them your magnetic personality.
(Dynamo is about to fire at the Power Players, but he is once again about to shut down)
Dynamo: Nothing! It's like I'm not wound-up enough!
Madcap: Not wounded? (He grunts) Porcupunk!
Porcupunk: What? Did I miss a turn? (He chuckles)
(Dynamo angrily charges towards Porcupunk)
Dynamo: Laugh while you can, rodent.
(Dynamo punches Porcupunk up into the air)
Porcupunk: Aaah!
Bearbarian: The new one's mine!
Porcupunk: Aaah!
(Porcupunk lands onto the floor)
Action Axel: All right, guys. Keep 'em in the arcade!
Madcap: Give me those bands!
Masko: What I not like about you… (He grabs three air hockey pucks out of the goal opening) is the everything!
(Masko throws the three pucks at the villains, one of them hits Porcupunk who's about to climb back up onto the table)
Madcap: Argh! Get them!
Masko: Not when we get you first!
(Masko pounces up and smashes his fist on Madcap's back, which paralyzes him)
Madcap: Aaah!
(At the bowling lanes, Zoe has scored a solid nine)
Announcer: And a solid nine for Zoe!
Zoe: Okay, I can do this! (She turns around, but she realizes that Axel and the toys are all left) Uh… Wait. Where…?
Cleo: Oh, don't get distracted! Ha, ha, ha!
(Zoe notices a green blast from inside the arcade room)
Zoe: Oh, no! Oh, not today! Axel!
(Inside the arcade room, the Power Players trio are still fighting the villains)
Madcap: Go ahead and run, but I'll still get those Bandz!
Action Axel: Bearbarian, backup here?
Bearbarian: By my blue fur… goal!
(Bearbarian hits Dynamo with his World Breaker, knocking him back and hits both Madcap and Porcupunk off the table)
Dynamo: Stella!
Porcupunk: Not again!
(Outside the arcade room, Zoe pounds on the window to get the Power Players' attentions)
Masko: Hello!
Action Axel: Hey, Zoe! Did you see…? Uh… (Zoe gestures to him that they must take the fight somewhere else to avoid getting her distracted from winning the tournament) Uh, guys? Let's take this fight somewhere else, because, you know, it's much more fun to fight outside, right?
Masko: Oh, okay! I thought you were say you don't want us to disturb Zoe in the bowling tournament, which she really wants to win! (Action Axel facepalms since Masko had spill the beans to the villains. Bearbarian nudges Masko and shushes him) I not suppose to say that, no?
Madcap: So, your little friend's game is important to you?
(The villains are about to leave the arcade room so they could sabotage Zoe)
Action Axel: You wouldn't!
(In the bowling lane, Zoe grabs another bowling ball)
Announcer: Cleo still leads, but Zoe is coming up from behind!
Zoe: Time to take the lead! (She throws her ball and it rolls into the lane. The ball hits the pins, but she only misses two) Whoa! A seven-ten split? How?
(Unbeknownst to Zoe, Porcupunk and Dynamo are both hiding behind the standing bowling pins and they are deliberately holding onto them to prevent them from falling)
Porcupunk: Ha, ha! I braced mine better than you did!
Dynamo: Whatever, second fiddle.
(The Power Players all get outside the arcade room to stop the villains from sabotaging Zoe)
Action Axel: You take the pins. I take the front.
(Action Axel skates past several people, but he accidentally crashes into Zoe)
Zoe: Hey! (She picks up Action Axel and walks away from the crowd) Really? Now? Here?
Action Axel: No! It's Madcap! He's here! He…
Zoe: Yeah, right. You just can't stop playing, can you? Well, you know what? This is more than a game to me.
Cleo: Who are you talking to, Zoe?
(Zoe hides Action Axel behind her back and tosses him aside)
Zoe: Apparently, just myself.
(Action Axel activates his Power Drone and starts flying around)
Action Axel: Any signs of Madcap?
(Inside the bowling lane's pit, Masko and Bearbarian are both searching for the villains)
Masko: What we be for doing? If we interfere, Zoe is mad. If we don't, Madcap ruin her game.
Bearbarian: Well, stopping Madcap is what we do.
(Dynamo and Porcupunk both hide behind a side kick panel)
Porcupunk: Oh, here they come.
Action Axel: Hang on, guys! Going in!
(Action Axel enters the pit of the lane)
Madcap: Well, come to accept my offer?
(Outside the lane pit, Zoe had scored a strike)
Zoe: Strike! Yes!
Cleo: Takes one to know!
(Cleo throws her ball to the lane and it knocks all but one pins down)
Dynamo: Oh, yeah!
(Dynamo is about to knock the still-standing pin down)
Cleo: One?
Zoe: A tie? Oh…
(Dynamo knocks the pin down)
Cleo: See? You just need to have confidence. Winners are gonna win.
(Inside the lane pit, Masko and Bearbarian both see the villains are trying to cheat the game for Cleo. Masko gasps)
Masko: The cheating!
Bearbarian: Grr!
(Dynamo, with Porcupunk riding on his back, flies to Masko and Bearbarian)
Porcupunk: You call it cheating. We call it, “Give up or your little friend loses”!
(Porcupunk winds-up Dynamo again)
Masko: If you not do the fair and the square… I put you in the gutter-ball hold! (He pounces to the villains, but Porcupunk rolls himself into a ball and Masko lands onto his quills) Owie! It sting!
(Meanwhile, Action Axel is about to fight Madcap)
Action Axel: Give it up, Madcap! You're never getting my Power Bandz!
Madcap: Hand them over or your little friend loses her precious match!
(Madcap charges his tentacles to Action Axel, but the latter uses his Power Sword and slices a chunk of the tentacles. Outside, Zoe throws her ball to the lane and the ball knocks all the pins down. However, since Action Axel and Madcap are both in front of the pins, it accidentally knocks the two toys away into the ball return system)
Action Axel and Madcap: Aaah!
(After the two toys land safely in the ball return system, they are about to resume their fight)
Madcap: You can't win. Hand over the Power Bandz and I'll leave your friends alone!
Action Axel: So you can turn the world into your sandbox? No way! (Madcap grabs Action Axel) What's that sound?
(The two toys both heard the sound of bowling balls rolling)
Madcap: Huh? (While Madcap looks to see that the noise is coming from the bowling balls that are about to roll onto the rails near them, Action Axel fires a blast at him and he lets go of him. Madcap lands in front of a bowling ball and pushes him away to where the ball return system is) Aaah!
Action Axel: Ha, ha, man! You should have seen your face when… (He accidentally walks onto the rail and another bowling ball appears and pushes him to where the ball return system is) Aaah! (Madcap and Action Axel both reach out of the ball return system) Everything's spinning!
Madcap: One thing that is about to turn is your little friend's luck from bad to worse!
(Action Axel notices that Madcap is hiding behind a bowling ball and he is trying to sneak past the crowd by rolling it. Action Axel does the same thing and follows him)
Action Axel: No!
(Zoe notices Action Axel and Madcap on the lane)
Announcer: It's down to the final roll! Our two leaders are tied going into frame ten!
(Inside the lane pit, Masko and Bearbarian are still face-to-face with Porcupunk and Dynamo)
Porcupunk: Prove yourself, ya big piece of plastic junk!
(Dynamo fires a large blast at Masko and Bearbarian which knocks them away. He also got the two toys trapped by using his magnetic field)
Dynamo: Ha, ha, ha!
Bearbarian: Whoa!
(Porcupunk continues to crank Dynamo again)
Porcupunk: One last turn and you'll be good an' cranked.
Dynamo: Let me show you how winners do it!
Bearbarian: Can't… move…
Masko: I cannot… the stretch.
(Madcap made it back into the pit)
Madcap: Perfect! Two down, one to go.
(Action Axel appears and kicks Madcap aside)
Action Axel: Yeah, and that one… is you! (Dynamo notices the commotion and fires a magnetic field at Action Axel) Wait. What's happening to my sword and my Power Bandz? They're…
Madcap: Ah, ah, ah, ah… No point in fighting! The Bandz are mine! Dynamo, maximum magnetic power!
Bearbarian: Axel! On his back! It's the source of his power!
Action Axel: You want my Bandz? I'll give ‘em to ya!
(Action Axel pounces forward and prepare to punch Dynamo with his fists)
Dynamo: No!
(Action Axel punches through Dynamo's hole in the center of his body, freeing himself)
Action Axel: Yes! And for the spare…? (He fires Minergy at the wind-up knob and breaks it into pieces) Bye-bye, wind-up knob! (Dynamo collapses onto the floor) Guys, we've got a game to protect! Come on!
Announcer: Incredible, but it all comes down to a last throw tie-breaker between defending champ Cleo and challenger Zoe!
(Zoe throws her ball and it knocks down two remaining pins)
Zoe: I did it? I did it! Woohoo! But Cleo won't be as nervous as I was. I guess it's over.
(Cleo throws her ball on the lane. Above, Madcap is watching the tournament on a ceiling light)
Madcap: No matter what she hits, I'll just knock over all the pins and-- (The ball suddenly gets onto the gutter, making the audience all gasp) What? Now she misses?
(Nearby, Action Axel is lifting both Masko and Bearbarian as he flies to Madcap)
Action Axel: She might, but we won't.
Masko: I am the ready!
(Bearbarian throws World Breaker and it hits Cleo's ball, knocking it away and hits Madcap, sending him into the air vent)
Madcap: No!
Cleo: A gutter ball? I never gutter ball.
(Inside the air vent, Madcap is running as fast as he could from Cleo's ball which is rolling after him)
Madcap: Aaah!
Zoe: I win? Oh, woohoo! I win! (While everyone is distracted, Masko and Bearbarian both get back inside Axel's backpack and Action Axel detransforms himself. Axel appears and congratulates Zoe) But…
Axel: Nope! That was all you! Good job! (He looks at Bearbarian and Masko) And you too!
Cleo: Hey! Just wanted to say… congrats. (She makes a fist) You bowled a great game!
Zoe: Really? Thanks!
(Zoe and Cleo both fistbump)
Cleo: But next year, look out, Champ.
(Cleo leaves, allowing Zoe and Axel to have a private conversation about Madcap's presence)
Zoe: Madcap really was here?
Axel: But you won it fair and square. All we did was make sure the game wasn't rigged. Turns out you're awesome at tackling opponents too!
Zoe: Well, I did have a great coach, who gave me some excellent pointers!
(Zoe starts spinning around)
Axel: Whoa! Look out! Aaah! (Zoe throws her ball while spinning) Huh?
(Axel chuckles when Zoe's ball scored a strike)
