Scene: Axel Mulligan's room. The Power Players are all playing a game, unbeknownst that Madcap is watching them from outside their windows.
(Madcap is crackling outside)
Action Axel: This one's mine! Got it!
(Action Axel is about to catch the grape, but Masko catches it first and passes it to Galileo who is holding his phone to take a selfie.)
Galileo: Yes! Just like in the movies! Selfie! Aw, getting tired, Axel?
Action Axel: No! And you were never in the movies, Galileo!
(Action Axel tackles Galileo, causing him to drop the grape)
Galileo: Hey! Hit the lizard where it hurts, why don't you?
Slobot: I… am… open.
(The grape bounces on Slobot's head)
Action Axel: Getting tired, guys?
(Sarge Charge catches the grape)
Sarge Charge: Got it! Bearbarian, this one's for you! (Sarge passes the grape to Bearbarian who's standing on top of Axel's computer chair, but the latter accidentally crushes it with his hands) Dagnabbit! The training game is pass the grape, not juice it!
(Bearbarian lands on the ground)
Bearbarian: Rules are for little teddy bears! And I…
Masko: Here he go again.
Bearbarian: I am Bearbarian! Roar!
(Masko hugs Bearbarian)
Masko: Aw! I love when you are pretend to be so rough and roaring!
Bearbarian: Pretend?
Uncle Andrew: Axel!
Action Axel: What?
Uncle Andrew: Luka's here!
Action Axel: Everybody! Toy mode!
Power Players: We're always toys.
(Action Axel detransforms himself)
Axel: You know what I mean! Come on, guys! Hurry! And look natural!
(The Power Players all run to different areas around the room before they put themselves in toy mode. Galileo lays on the computer chair, while Bobbie Blobby and Sarge are both on Axel's bed. Bearbarian lets out a sigh. Luka opens the door and enters the room)
Luka: Hey! Axel!
Axel: Luka! Hey! What a surprise! Me? Nothing! Uh… how it's going?
Luka: Your toys are cool! Oh, you have teddy bears too? I love teddies! (He grabs Bearbarian before he prop himself onto Axel's bed) My mom said I can have a sleepover tonight! All my friends are gonna be there. Wanna come?
Axel: Aren't pajama parties for like… babies?
Luka: No! And especially not this one. (He tosses Bearbarian aside) My dad bought me Dungeon Galactic 6!
(Luka shows Axel the game which causes the latter to gasp)
Axel: I'm in! I love sleepovers! Yeah!
Luka: Oh, and even though it's not for kids, everyone has to bring their favorite stuffed animal! (He leaves the room and closes the door) See ya tonight!
Axel: Stuffed animal?
Bearbarian: Do no even think it.
(Outside, Madcap, having eavesdrop the entire conversation, starts gloating to himself)
Madcap: First I'll take the bands, then I'll use them for a game called “Crush the goody-goody toys!”
(Madcap laughs evilly as he walks away. Back in the room, Axel is trying to convince Bearbarian, who's in his closet)
Axel: If you do this for me, I'll… fix the squeak in your hammer!
Bearbarian: I like the sound World Breaker makes.
Axel: I'll… brush all the knots out of your fur!
Bearbarian: Hmm. Brushes… Do not tempt me! I am not soft!
Axel: How about I promise to never say you're soft or cuddly again?
Bearbarian: Warrior's oath?
Axel: Cross my heart.
(Axel and Bearbarian both fistbump)
Bearbarian: Deal.
Scene: Luka's house at night.
(Axel rings the doorbell of the house)
Luka's mother: I'll get it!
Scene: Luka's bedroom. Axel enters the room.
Luka's mother: Luka! Someone came!
Axel: Someone? (He sees there's no one else in the bedroom, but he notices a ton of teddy bears) Uh, that's a lot of teddy bears.
Bearbarian: Huh! (Axel takes off Bearbarian's hat and places it and World Breaker in his backpack) Serves you right. Only thing worse could be a tea party.
Axel: Shh!
(Luka comes out of his game room)
Luka: Cool! You bought your teddy bear! They're my favorite, too! Whoa! What a softy!
(Luka grabs Bearbarian and hugs him)
Bearbarian: Grr! I'll show you soft!
Axel: I wouldn't do that, if I was you.
Luka: Did your bear just talk?
Axel: Ha, ha! Teddies can't talk! (He grabs Bearbarian out of Luka's hand. Unbeknownst to him, Luka, and Bearbarian, Madcap is watching them from the inside of the vent) I, uh… I threw my voice! Ventriloquism!
Luka: Wow! So cool! You have to teach me to do that!
Axel: Yeah. Later. Can we start Dungeon Galactic 6? Or are a bunch of people in front of me?
(Axel and Luka both leave to get to Luka's game room. Madcap opens the vent door of the bedroom)
Madcap: Finally!
(In Luka's game room, Axel notices there's no one else there)
Axel: Where is everyone?
Luka: Surprise! You're the only one coming! Everyone else got sick at the last minute. Weird, huh? (He gets onto his computer chair and starts riding on it) Whee! (He rolls out of the game room and gets back to his bedroom) B-R-B with my bear! (Luka grabs Mr. Cuddles from his bed and rolls back to the game room. Unbeknownst to Luka, Madcap gets onto the bed and is watching the boys) Whee! (Luka laughs happily as he holds out Mr. Cuddles)
Bearbarian: I smell nerd.
Axel: Yeah! That!
Luka: Slumber party! Slumber party! Whoo!
Axel: Luka's really nice. I think we're gonna have fun, as soon as I get my hands on…
(Axel insensitively tosses Bearbarian aside and points at Luka's computer. Bearbarian lands on a couch)
Luka: Woohoo! Bears! Bears! Bears! Bears!
(Madcap laughs evilly from the bedroom)
Axel: Dungeon Galactic 6! (grabs a controller) Oh! This party is officially on! So cool! Me first!
(Luka takes the controller away from Axel)
Luka: Wait! First, I have to show you something! Axel, meet Mr. Cuddles, my favorite.
Axel: That's so... cool?
Bearbarian: I want to make a new deal. (Luka grabs Bearbarian) Whoa!
Axel: Ha! Yes! That is too funny! I gotta get a picture!
(Axel takes out his phone and takes a picture of Bearbarian)
Luka: It's so fun that you play with teddy bears too! Now we can play together!
Axel: You mean P-v-P on Dungeon Galactic 6?
Luka: No! With our teddy bears! It's time for their tea.
(Axel takes pictures of Bearbarian being forced to play tea party with Luka and Mr. Cuddles. In Luka's bedroom, Madcap walks to the bed)
Madcap: Time to wake up some playthings!
(Madcap is about to apply Minergy to all of Luka's teddy bears. Back in the game room, Luka is still playing with Bearbarian)
Luka: Uh-oh! Someone didn't dress fancy. Don't worry. (places a red bow-tie on Bearbarian) There!
Axel: Hang in there, buddy! Luka, now that they've had tea, we should let our bears, uh, relax while we play. Right?
Luka: Relax? They need to exercise! To help their food go down!
Bearbarian: You will pay for this.
(Luka grabs Bearbarian)
Luka: Come here, you! (He starts bouncing Bearbarian up and down) And one, and two, and three!
(In Luka's bedroom, Madcap is about to apply Minergy to the teddy bears)
Madcap: Welcome to the world, my destructive little army! Have some Minergy and bring me what I seek. (fires Minergy to all of the teddy bears, causing them to all growl) It's play time.
(In the game room, Axel notices the glow in the bedroom while Luka hugs Bearbarian very tightly)
Luka: Hugs! You're no Mr. Cuddles, but you sure are soft!
Axel: Bearbarian…
Luka's mother: Luka, it's bath time!
Luka: Okay, Mom!
(Luka tosses Bearbarian aside, and Axel catches him)
Axel: You okay, buddy?
Bearbarian: So… cold.
(Inside Bearbarian's mind, he sees himself playing tea party with Mr. Cuddles)
Luka's mother: The water's getting cold!
Luka: I said I'm coming, Mom! (He's about to leave the bedroom, but he stops to talk to Axel. Unbeknownst to Luka, his teddy bear all hid from his view) Hey! Wait to play until I come back, okay?
Axel: No prob. You go and… just go.
Luka: Ha, ha! You're funny!
(Luka leaves his bedroom, leaving Axel alone with Bearbarian. Axel shakes Bearbarian to snap him out of his hallucination)
Axel: Bearbarian, say something!
Bearbarian: Tea… too soft… hugs…
Madcap: Did someone say they wanted to play Teddy Bear?
(The teddy bear army all match to the game room)
Axel: Oh, no! Bearbarian! Don't go over to the soft side now! I need you! (Three teddy bears tackle him, causing him to drop Bearbarian) Aaah! Teddy bears? How'd you all…? (The teddy bear army all drag Axel to the bedroom) Let me go! Bearbarian! I need help! Help!
Bearbarian: Soft… necktie…
Axel: What's happening? I told you. Let me go!
Madcap: Go? But I haven't got your magnificent bands yet.
Axel: Madcap! I should have known!
Madcap: Well, actually, yes, you should have. I mean, I can't think of anyone else who wants those bands so badly.
Axel: Bearbarian! Bearbarian!
Madcap: He can't help you now. And the best part? It's all your fault!
(In the game room, Bearbarian is admiring himself)
Bearbarian: Nice and soft. Softy bear.
Madcap: Now, about those bands…
(Axel starts tickling a brown teddy bear, which causes him to chuckle and let go of Axel)
Axel: You want bands? I'll give you bands!
Action Axel: Too late! Action Axel is in the house! Let's do this, fuzzies!
(The teddy bears all dogpile Action Axel)
Madcap: I made some new friends. Hope you don't mind if they bury you with affection. (laughs evilly)
Action Axel: I'm all for friends, but these guys aren't so friendly!
(Action Axel fires a blast inside the dogpile, knocking all the teddy bears out of his way)
Madcap: Huh?
Action Axel: Over and out! (Action Axel runs to where his backpack is and he gets inside) I need the real Bearbarian right now, a cuddly pretender!
Madcap: Get them!
(Action Axel gets onto the World Breaker and levitates it to the game room)
Action Axel: I need the true warrior!
Bearbarian: Plushy wushy.
(Madcap and his teddy bear army are all marching to the game room)
Action Axel: Buddy, if you're gonna do something, now would be the time! I need the wild you!
(Inside Bearbarian's mind, Mr. Cuddles is dancing around him and laughs happily. Bearbarian snaps out of his trance and throws a straw hat at Mr. Cuddles)
Bearbarian: Roar!
(Bearbarian, now back to normal, grabs his hat and World Breaker)
Action Axel: Yes! Time to do what you do best!
Bearbarian: I am wild! I destroy! I will rage! All will fall by my hand! (He jumped up and did a battle cry. He smashes World Breaker on the floor and knocks a few teddy bears away) Feel the power of the World Breaker!
(At the doorway, Madcap is applying more Minergy to the teddy bear army)
Madcap: Get up my furry warriors!
(Action Axel gets onto the couch)
Action Axel: You shouldn't crash a party you weren't invited to, Madcap!
Madcap: Why? Because I didn't bring my own stuffed pet? I can fix that with some Minergy!
(Madcap applies Minergy to a nearby plush snake, making it come to life. Madcap laughs evilly as the plush snake slithers to Bearbarian)
Action Axel: Bearbarian! Behind you!
Madcap: Yes. Now, about those marvelous bands of yours…
Action Axel: No way! (Action Axel starts fighting Madcap and dodging his blasts. Bearbarian hits the plush snake with his World Breaker) Bearbarian! A little help here!
(Bearbarian roars and charges to Madcap)
Bearbarian: Leave him to me! Time to smash that grape!
(Action Axel flies out of the way and Bearbarian claps his hands very hard that knocks Madcap into the air vent and sends him away)
Madcap: This game isn't over!
Action Axel: Wow! Perfect hit, Bearbarian!
Luka: Axel! I'm almost done!
Action Axel: Oh, no! The room's a mess, Bearbarian's wild, and Luka's bears haven't lost their Minergy yet!
Luka's teddy bears: We are yours to command, great warrior bear. Lead us.
(A Salto gives Bearbarian's World Breaker back to him)
Bearbarian: Yes!
Luka's teddy bears: Yes!
Bearbarian: And my first command is--
Action Axel: Bearbarian, are you…?
Bearbarian: The warrior rage subsides. I am myself again and can stall them until the Minergy fades. I command you all to rest after this great battle! (Action Axel detransforms himself) Do not move until my word.
(The teddy bear army all walk back to where they usually were, causing all their Minergy inside them to fade and turn them back to their dormant states)
Action Axel: Bearbarian, I'm sorry I made you something you're not. Twice.
Bearbarian: Both helped remind me who I am.
(Bearbarian and Axel both high-five. Luka comes back to his bedroom, which makes Axel hides Bearbarian behind his back)
Luka: That took longer than I thought! Guess I was really dirty! Ha, ha!
Axel: No problem! But…
Luka: But my party is no fun and you wanna go.
Axel: No! I don't wanna leave, I wanna play. But I wanna play Dungeon Galactic 6. I wanna play it now!
Luka: Let's do it! (Later, the boys are playing Dungeon Galactic 6 on Luka's computer in the game room) Having fun?
Axel: I am! (He and Luka both high-five. Axel secretly looks at Bearbarian) Keeping an eye on those bears?
Bearbarian: I am.
(Bearbarian winks at Axel)
