Axel's dog was a character from an old, unused concept of Power Players. The dog existed in concept arts and the official Power Player trailer. However since the animation style for the series has changed from having the toys be animated in CGI in a live-action background, the concept was discarded, and so, the dog never appeared outside of concept art. Based on one concept art, the dog was originally going to be owned by Axel Mulligan.
In one concept art, the dog is depicted as a terrier. However, in the Power Players trailer, the dog is a chihuahua.
The dog is so far the only known character to not be animated in CGI. However, it's unknown if the dog will make any appearance in the final version of the series.
It's unknown who portrayed the dog in the trailer.
