You better hope Axel getting taken over was a plan, otherwise Uncle Andrew's gonna find out about this.

Zoe is Axel Mulligan's next-door neighbor and best friend. As the only human who's currently aware of the Power Players' existence as living toys, she often aids them during times of conflict.

Appearance[]

Zoe has waist-length brown hair tied back into a braided ponytail and wears glasses. Her eyes have green pupils. She normally wears an orange watch on her right arm, an orange bracelet and a red bracelet on her left arms, blue jeans, a pair of black sneakers, and a black t-shirt with a pink cat face on it.

Personality[]

Zoe is helpful, level-headed, sensible, confident, down-to-earth, and brave. When it comes to anything involving the Power Players, she's willing to help them in need since she's the only human who's aware of their existence as living toys and she lets herself in the secret after she found out when the toys were accidentally seen in front of her. Zoe holds great admiration and respect for the superhero team, especially to her best friend and neighbor Axel, wishing to join the team despite lacking superpowers herself. Her wish is heavily focused in "Side Kicked" when she expresses jealousy of the team's constant battle with Madcap and his army on the daily basis, but without powers or combat skills, she decided to come up with her own superhero identity in which she calls herself "Action Zoe". But despite wanting to join the team and had helped them defeat Pyrant, Zoe is shown to be very humble, especially after realizing how much work it is to be a superhero and she rather continues being the Power Players' ally instead. Whenever it's necessary, Zoe would often give her friends helpful advice to guide them on their missions.

Ever since she discovered the existence of sentient toys after Axel brought the Power Players to life with Minergy, Zoe is very brave and loyal to them, unafraid to get close to villains in her pursuit of aiding the heroes during times of conflict. Her bravery and determination has helped both civilians and superheroes, such as when she guides the innocent civilians away from the park during Princess SugarSalt's attack in "Swing Set Jet Set" and has a willingness to fight the aforementioned villain back, showing a more compassionate side towards her beloved ones in danger and great skills in leadership.

Abilities[]

While Zoe lacks in superpower or combat skills, she's shown to be very athletic. She knows how to play softball as mentioned in "Side Kicked", dodgeballs in "Dodge City", and bowling.

Relationships[]

Axel Mulligan/Action Axel[]

Before Axel become a member of the Power Players team, he and Zoe have known each other for five days after he moved in with Uncle Andrew and they befriend each other, as revealed in "Unboxing Part 1". Since then, Zoe and Axel have been best friends, often hanging out with each other or helping each other out. Although Axel and Zoe both tend to argue with each other because of their differences, Zoe is also very forgiving and accepting of Axel's stubbornness and occasional lack of responsibility. As the only human who's aware of Axel's secret identity as Action Axel and the existence of living toys, she's willing to help him and the team defeats Madcap's army whenever they terrorize the city. In return, Axel cares deeply for Zoe and he supports her as the team's ally despite lacking superpowers.

Power Players[]

Zoe is the only human who's aware of the Power Players are secretly living toys after the events of "Unboxing Part 2" when she sees them interacting with Action Axel and she lets herself in on the secret. From then on, Zoe serves as the team's ally despite lacking any superpowers herself and helps Axel keep them a secret from his uncle.

In "Side Kicked", she expresses jealousy of Axel being able to have superpower and battles with Madcap and his army on the daily basis that she wants to try joining them, but without powers or combat skills, she decided to come up with her own superhero identity in which she calls herself "Action Zoe". Eventually, after realizing how much work it is to be a superhero after saving the team from Pyrant and his army, Zoe changes her mind about joining the team and decided to stay being their ally instead.

In "Joke's On You, Bro!", Zoe is also willing to help protect the Power Players' secret of being living toys to prevent anyone, especially Andrew, from finding out. When Galileo gullibly dances in the streets out in the open with many civilians watching him after the Power Players pull a prank on him into thinking his stealth mode is broken and he's "invisible", Zoe, with helps from both Axel and Galileo, put together a video of Galileo "moving" in stop-motion and it manages to trick everyone into thinking that the "living-lizard toy" is a hoax.

Cleo LeBall[]

Cleo and Zoe are both athletic rivals and they would always compete with each other in various competitions to see who's the best, whether it's to prove to Axel which one is better of being his dodgeball coach in "Dodge City" to even wanting to prove whose birthday party they plan is better than the other in "Party On".

In "The Best Team", the girls team-up with each other for the soapbox derby race, much to Axel's surprise, since Zoe feels that they could both use their athletic skills so they can work together to win the race. Although Zoe and Cleo manage to work well together during the race, when Axel and Luka's derby car crashes because of Madcap's intervention and they're on their third lap, Cleo refuses to let both herself and Zoe lose their lead when Zoe leaves their derby car to help her friends, which lead to Cleo driving her derby car away and ditches Zoe despite they're supposed to be a team since the derby race is a team race. Cleo's lack of sportsmanship causes Zoe to team up with Luka instead and they both won first place since Cleo got herself disqualified even though it was she who finished first.

Although the two girls didn't always get along with each other, Zoe never sees herself and Cleo as "enemies" and they don't have an extreme hatred for each other but instead, they're more just competitive and friendly rivals. Near the end of "Dodge City", both Zoe and Cleo are shown to enjoy playing a friendly game of dodgeball with Axel despite the girls' rivalry, which implied that while they normally compete against each other, they have a frenemy relationship and they both like to have fun as long as there isn't a competition since Cleo doesn't like to lose.

Joyride[]

When Zoe was little, she used to own Joyride and he was her favorite toy, though at some point before Axel's arrival, she lost him. In "Joyride", Axel found a Joyride at a rummage sale at the park and gave him to Zoe as a gift. Initially, Zoe was reluctant to play with Joyride and places him on top of a shelf in her room out of fear of losing him again, but as soon as Axel leaves her room to get back to his house, she secretly started playing with Joyride and happily expresses to him how joyful she is for reuniting with her childhood toy. But when Zoe leaves her room for lunch, Madcap sneaks into her room and brings Joyride to life with Minergy. And because of Joyride's resentment to humans since he's a collector item and he was never got to be played with throughout his existence, he turned against Zoe and her friends when he believed that no one wants to play with him anymore and tells them that Madcap has set him free to do what he wants to do and he doesn't belong to anyone, which hurts Zoe's feeling upon realizing that her childhood toy doesn't want to live with her anymore. It wasn't until after Action Axel convinced Joyride that Zoe does indeed love and care about him during their fight at Madcap's lair which lead to Joyride's redemption and turning against Madcap's army that Zoe was at first delighted to see that Joyride has come back to see her. However, Joyride reveals that the reason he came back to see Zoe is to say good-bye to her since he has decided to choose his path to roam around the city as an independent toy instead of staying at her house. Instead of feeling upset that she lose Joyride again, Zoe understands his feelings and lets him leave for his freedom and to her, freedom is important to him since he wants to become his own person.

In "Thirst For Power", Zoe and Joyride both cross paths with each other along with the Power Players when Dr. Nautilus is about flood the sewers to take over the city and he came to help her. Their friendship has become closer as well when Zoe convinces Joyride to help their friends on their mission to stop Dr. Nautilus by having the Power Players use him as a boat, which Joyride initially refuse to let them do so since he sees himself as an individual instead of a vehicle, but Zoe advises him that he must do something out of his comfort zone to help their friends.

Luka[]

Zoe and Luka have always gotten along nicely since they're also friends with Axel. In "The Best Team", after Cleo ditches Zoe during the soapbox derby race, Zoe team-ups with Luka so they could continue the race while Axel has to deal with Madcap, Porcupunk, and Dynamo who're sabotaging their race. Zoe and Luka both manage to won first place and they both share their trophy with Axel because of their friendship, with Zoe hoping that next year the race should change their rules to let them and Axel race together as a trio. Zoe is also aware of how Luka really wants to play with Axel's toys despite Axel forbids him to do so since Luka is completely unaware that the Power Players are sentient toys and they're completely fearful of him.

Uncle Andrew[]

Despite not being related, Zoe refers to him as "Uncle Andrew" in "Side Kicked", possibly indicating she also views him as an uncle.
